Black Boxed Grained Ostrich Watch Strap – Classic Dress

A relaxed expression of mid-century style — textured, refined, and full of character.

We designed this strap to pair with the icons of classic watchmaking — from time-only pieces to calendars and chronographs by makers such as Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin and Audemars Piguet — always with harmony and proportion in mind.

To preserve these original proportions, we developed this strap with a more refined taper — from 18 or 20 mm at the lugs to 14 mm at the buckle — a detail rarely found today, yet essential for the correct look and feel of these watches, while allowing the use of original vintage buckles.

Inspired by original 1940s and 1950s strap designs, this piece reinterprets the characteristic boxed construction in a contemporary execution. The signature boxed stitch, set deep within a defined heatline, frames both the softly padded center and the padded edges — creating a refined, sculptural three-dimensional profile.

Crafted from exceptionally soft black ostrich leather, the strap introduces a natural grain and texture that gives it a more relaxed, lived-in character. The surface subtly shifts with the light, adding depth and variation while maintaining a composed and elegant appearance.

Despite its structured look, it remains slim at just 1.8mm, supple and highly flexible — naturally hugging the wrist.

Finished with a smooth leather lining for comfort, this strap brings together vintage inspiration with a softer, more effortless presence.

A strap that feels slightly less formal — while remaining firmly within the world of refined watchmaking.
