The white panda dial, vivid blue accents and beautifully aged tachymeter bezel make this Jo Siffert Autavia a wonderfully charismatic piece of motorsport history.

Few vintage chronographs capture the spirit of 1970s racing quite like the Heuer Autavia 1163T. Associated with Swiss Formula One driver Jo Siffert, this is a watch with genuine racing heritage and unmistakable character.

This example features the desirable Mk6 dial, with its clean white surface, contrasting black registers and striking blue details. The distinctive blue chronograph hand and matching accents bring the dial to life. Particularly interesting is the 1-through-12 hour recorder, a defining characteristic of the Mk6 execution.

The stainless steel cushion case retains attractive proportions and brushed surfaces. Its black tachymeter bezel shows honest wear and subtle fading, developing an almost metallic tone that adds personality.

Inside beats the automatic Calibre 12, with its characteristic left-side crown. The watch comes on a three-row Heuer steel bracelet and has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.

We love the combination of colours, racing history and vintage character. A proper Siffert that looks fantastic on the wrist!

Historical Context

Introduced in 1969, the automatic Heuer Autavia 1163 became closely associated with motorsport and Heuer’s pioneering automatic chronographs.

Jo Siffert, a Formula One Grand Prix winner and Porsche works driver, helped establish Heuer’s presence in international racing. His name remains inseparable from the white-dial Autavia 1163T, one of the most recognisable vintage Heuer chronographs today.
