Few modern Rolex references have had the impact of the Cosmograph Daytona 116500LN. Introduced in 2016, it combined the familiar 40mm Oyster case with Rolex's highly scratch-resistant black Cerachrom bezel and the proven in-house calibre 4130, creating what has become one of the defining modern sports watches of the last decade. Even after the introduction of its successor, the 116500LN remains one of the most sought-after Daytona references, appreciated for its balanced proportions, slimmer case profile and timeless design.

Offered here is a particularly attractive example, originally sold in October 2021 and presented as a complete full set with its original box, warranty card, manuals, booklets and hang tag. The watch has been carefully worn and remains in excellent overall condition, showing only the light signs of wear one would expect from responsible ownership. It represents exactly the type of honest, collector-grade example we always strive to source.

The black dial gives the Daytona a more discreet and purposeful character than its white-dial counterpart. Combined with the glossy black Cerachrom bezel and polished Oyster case, it creates a timeless monochromatic aesthetic that remains as contemporary today as when it was first introduced. Whether worn daily or reserved for special occasions, it is a watch that feels equally at home on the wrist as it does within a serious Rolex collection.

Powering the watch is Rolex's renowned Calibre 4130, widely regarded as one of the finest automatic chronograph movements ever produced. Designed entirely in-house, it combines outstanding reliability with impressive precision and a practical 72-hour power reserve, making it every bit as enjoyable to wear as it is to admire. An added benefit is that this Daytona remains covered by the original Rolex International Warranty until October 2026, offering complete peace of mind to its next owner.

Complete, honest examples of the 116500LN continue to be among the most desirable modern Rolex sports watches on the market. Offered with its full accessories, remaining Rolex warranty and in excellent overall condition, this is exactly the sort of example collectors seek.

Please don't hesitate to contact us should you wish to discuss this exceptional Daytona further.
