The Rolex GMT-Master 1675, produced from 1959 to 1980, stands as one of the most iconic vintage Rolex models, known for its long production run and the many subtle variations that evolved over the years. It was the sole GMT-Master reference during that era, making it especially fascinating for collectors. Throughout its lifespan, the 1675 saw numerous updates—ranging from dial changes (gilt to matte), crown guard designs (pointed to rounded), to the introduction of a larger GMT hand. While the now-famous red and blue “Pepsi” bezel was standard, an all-black bezel variant was also introduced in the early 1970s.

On offer here is a matte “Mk4” dial variant, featuring a strong, well-preserved case and two bezel inserts—giving you two distinct looks with one watch. Currently fitted with a clean black insert showing only light signs of wear, the watch also comes with a bonus “Pepsi” insert. The Pepsi insert is in great condition—non-faded, with a blue back—making it a later addition, but it adds a vibrant, classic touch.

The Mk4 dial itself is in excellent condition, with creamy vanilla patina on the tritium hour plots. The watch is paired with a Rolex Oyster bracelet, reference 78360, featuring 501B end links and a clasp stamped “03.”

This great 1675 has just been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker and is ready for new adventures!
